Who will deliver my medication?
Updated
Royal Mail will deliver your medication for free using its Tracked service, which is the same service used by LloydsDirect.
Where possible, we use packaging that allows us to post your items through your letterbox, so you don’t have to wait in for delivery. You can check and update your delivery preferences in the ‘Delivery’ section of your account.
If your items don’t fit through the letterbox, you can nominate a safe place for Royal Mail to leave your parcel.
These delivery options are both available providing your medicines don’t require a signature on delivery.
You will receive enhanced tracking from Royal Mail who will provide you with an estimated 2-hour delivery slot
If you’re prescribed a medicine that needs to be temperature controlled, fridge items such as insulin are sent using specialist packaging that keeps the medicines between 2°C and 8°C. These can still be delivered through your letterbox (if they fit) or left in your designated safe place if you have one set.
