Paying for a one‑off prescription

If you pay for NHS prescriptions, make sure your payment details are up to date in your Pharmacy2U account. The standard NHS prescription charge will apply.
If you’re exempt from paying, or you have a valid Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC), you can add your exemption details to your account so we know not to charge you.
The exemption information you provide must be accurate. The NHS carries out routine checks to prevent fraud or error, and patients who claim free prescriptions without a valid exemption may receive a penalty charge.
